After moving to Ireland in 2018, composer Andrew Keeling began writing simple, lyrical piano pieces as a response to the Irish landscapes and memories of his native England. On meeting Modern Eon's vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Alex Che in 2023 - as a result of writing a Musical Guide to Modern Eon - Andrew discovered Alex had also written a number of short pieces centred on piano, and both felt they might develop some of their material for an album. Produced by Alex Che, A Temple of Trees is a collection of twelve of these pieces.
