My Chamber Symphony 'Emerald' receives its premiere later this month. A very encouraging discussion re the logistics this morning with the conductor. It's sounding excellent in rehearsal.




It's moments like this morning's discussion that makes it all worthwhile. The second movement was inspired by this place:

The third movement is inspired by grandson's excellent dancing skills:

Earlier this week Unquiet Earth was performed in Norway. A video will be available in due course.


Next comes a guitar commission. More later.
