Recent books read. The Vaclav Havel book is to the point considering the time in which we're living. Probably best to discount the Foreword being an example of current semantic inversion:




Work on the second Gong Farmers album continues. Some fabulous contributions from some excellent musicians which Mark Graham and I are very grateful for.

I once had a composition teacher who despised the work of Edmund Rubbra. He was wrong. Rubbra was a real composer whose works were immaculate in every way. This article is an excellent introduction to his Symphonies:
